Stingray Direct is a leading health and wellness enterprise dedicated to building vitality-conscious brands and developing products that enhance consumers' quality of life. We are looking for a full-time Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic, close-knit team.
In this role, you'll have a unique opportunity to make a real impact as part of our growing analytics team. We're a small team, which means you'll have the chance to collaborate closely with the Director of Analytics to help shape the direction of our data strategy. We're looking for someone with experience who's excited to bring their insights and recommendations to the table-not just to perform tasks, but to help us improve how we work and make better decisions as a company.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in Power BI (or similar platforms), SQL, and Python for managing data connections and transformations. You'll be creating impactful reports and building scalable solutions that will drive data-informed decisions across the business.
This role is 100% remote, but candidates must be based in California. Currently, Stingray Direct is unable to provide sponsorship for an H-1B visa.
Responsibilities:
Data Reporting and Visualization:Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI or similar platforms to provide actionable insights.Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure data accuracy and reliability.Data Management and Analysis:Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various sources.Utilize Python to automate data processes, integrate data sources, and perform data transformations.Backend Data Connections and Transformations:Formulate and manage backend data connections to ensure seamless data flow between systems.Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to optimize data transformation and integration.Customer Data Insights:Analyze customer data to understand behavior and trends, focusing on key metrics such as LTV and AOV.Provide insights to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall customer experience.Strategic Planning and Collaboration:Work with management to identify opportunities for data optimization and contribute to strategic planning.Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure data needs are met and insights are actionable.Project Management:Manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Requirements
Based in CaliforniaBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization platforms and advanced SQL skills are requiredStrong knowledge of Python for data connectivity, automation, and transformationsExperience in data analysis, data visualization, and reportingExperience with digital advertising data and metrics such as LTV and AOVExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentBenefits
