Fortinet OTI engineer/ Fortinet Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Design and Implementation:

Develop and implement Fortinet security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems , tailored to meet client requirements.Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Fortinet devices and services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.Client Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to clients, resolving issues related to Fortinet products and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, changes, and incidents. Generate reports on security metrics and incident responses.Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on Fortinet products and best practices in network security.Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and Fortinet product updates.Qualifications:

Certification: Fortinet NSE 4 (minimum). NSE 5, NSE 6, or higher certifications are highly desirable.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network security and Fortinet product implementation and management.Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and related technologies.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with clients.
