SecretRole Summary:
The Avaya Engineers will ensure implementation of best practice solutions for voice communications services. They will manage and implement voice solutions using Avaya Aura 8.x systems including but not limited to Session Manager, Communications Manager, Media Manger, Systems Manager, Avaya G450/G430 Gateways, Voice network provisioning (voice VLAN/Access VLANs), Voicemail.The Engineers will provide Tier 3/4 support to over 40,000 customers in the continental US, document voice networks, prepare and perform migrations plans. Be part of a team that is architecting the next generation worldwide voice platform integrating Avaya, Microsoft Teams Call Plan, Teams Direct Routing and Cisco Session Border Controllers and grow your skills in the future of Voice Technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to internal teams and Federal Agency on voice network and applications including Secure Space and controlled space.Work with internal teams and Federal Agency to design and implement Voice Solutions leveraging Avaya Aura 8.x Platform.Manage and maintain voice network and systems, Avaya Aura 8.xConfigure and Troubleshoot Cisco Session Border ControllersAssist with Integration with Microsoft TeamsRecommend solutions, improvements, strategy, and architecture for voice networksResolve issues related to Avaya VoiceImplement and troubleshoot enterprise Voice-related solutions/incidents/system outagesSupport Voice Architect in designing voice engineering initiatives for all project-related and ongoing operations support for voice communications servicesRespond to escalated incidents and service requests from Delivery/Operations TeamsCoordinate planned maintenance activities, coordinate/facilitate planned/unplanned service outages, and ongoing project-related support activities. Recommend and integrate new Telecommunication Voice, Video and Unified Communications technologiesQualifications:
DoD Active Secret or higher clearance. We will sponsor Clearance for the right candidate.Avaya certifications preferred ( not required ! ): ACA or ACIS or ACSS or ACS or ACE or ACSA5+ years of experience with voice systems and voice networks with emphasis in VoIP systems using H.323 and SIPExperience with configuring DHCP scope, option 242, 46xx settings file to configure voice features.Experience with routing via AAR/ARSExperience with Avaya Communication Manager; Versions 7/8 are preferableAvaya Communication Manager (Avaya Aura Platforms) and Adjunct Administration, Maintenance, and InstallationExperience with VoIP, inbound and outbound voice networks, experience with network protocols and circuit provisioning and standards, understanding of LAN protocolsProven ability to successfully manage multiple projectsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams and managers as a service providerStrong team player and team mentorExperience with designing E911 solutions highly desired.Desired Skills:
