Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, and general health. Products are sold through a variety of channels including specialty retail, the internet, and gyms in a variety of formats including powders, bars, and Ready-to-Drink beverages. GPN has a global and expanding footprint with a current in-market presence in 24 countries.

Job/Project Summary:

In this role, the ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our GPN Procurement and New Business Development Team and gain valuable hands-on experience. Our Internship will provide you with exposure and connectivity with individuals across the business, opportunities to help grow our key brands position in the sports nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and weight management category, and networking with other GPN Interns. You will own a key project for the summer that you will shape, develop, and present to the larger organization. Outside of the main project, you will be a key contributor to a variety of procurement/ business development tasks throughout the summer. Through our program, you will partake in several developmental workshops and build connections with your Intern class and our business leaders through social and networking events.

Supporting sourcing events on ingredients, packaging, and contract manufacturing.Onboarding of new suppliers/contract manufacturers into the GPN system.Project managing new product development from inception to launch through Stage Gate process.Minimum Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldExperience building and maintain relationships within a teamClear written communication and strong interpersonal skillsSelf-starter and highly motivatedAbility to follow through on tasks with minimum directionStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
