Job Summary:
We are looking for a high skilled SAP Finance and Controlling consultant who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP solutions.
The IT BA Senior Consultant FICO will act as liaison for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives. Develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs and handles day to day production issues in all FI and CO Modules globally. The position will be based at our HQ in Brea, CA and will require someone in the office 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute SAP FI/CO projects, from planning to implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to analyze business processes, design solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Provide expert support to key users and departments, ensuring the effective utilization of SAP systems.
Responsible for creating functional specifications, independently implementing the necessary system configurations in SAP, and resolving issues from ongoing operations.
Integrating further SAP applications and system such as e.g. Concur, VIM, Paymetric, etc.
Moreover, you have an eye on the compliance of standards and make sure that uniform solution FICO designs (SAP template) are implemented.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Change Management:
Handle Change Requests from the business according to the Envista Change Management process
Proactively propose changes where these will represent potential improvement to the business
Support / Training:
Training of key users on the process and application
Handling of support tickets
Management of external resources with the ticketing process
Application support for infrastructural changes and application upgrades
Proactively drive process standardization and reduction of complexity within the application landscape and the business processes
Following internal SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance and system / process validation
Drive innovation within the application landscape and processes (simpler, better, more efficient)
Job Requirements:
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; we will also consider equivalent work experience
15+ years experience in SAP FICO solutions (ECC and S/4HANA)
Good communication, coordination and people skills and you are able to organize workshops with senior and middle management
Fluent in English
Flexible and apt to work in a continuously challenging and changing environment
Strong technical IT knowledge of supported Business Applications
Good knowledge of other relevant business processes
Strong knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other external applications
Critical skills:
Proven business and technical IT knowledge within the area Finance/Controlling (SAP FICO all core modules – GL, AR, AP, FA, Banking, Tax etc)
Knowledge of any of the following application/processes will be an advantage: Concur, Paymetric, VIM, Sabrix, bank integration
Excellent knowledge of SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP)
Understand ABAP language and programs (including Sapscript)
Strong analytical skills
Can conceptualize and communicate winning propositions - making complex ideas look simple.
Bright, ability to rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions and business areas
Critical Experience:
Proven experience of system configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules
Proven experience in supporting the SAP FICO modules
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Preferred experience of working in a multicultural work environment

Target Market Salary Range:
