Position Scope and Overview:
Greenlight Networks is actively recruiting to add an experienced Project Manager specifically focused on driving efficiencies and speed of our construction projects with a focus on expansion and new markets. This role is pivotal to our ability to fulfill our mission statement of Connecting Communities by delivering the Best Internet Experience and providing our Customers the Freedom to Work, Play and Live without Limits.
The Project Manager will be the main point of contact with all stakeholders within construction projects and new market expansions. This role is accountable for ensuring projects under management are on track, within scope, and budget. The specific position responsibilities are outlined as follows:
Essential Functions:
Effectively develop, set and communicate project expectations to Leadership, team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Identify and manage project dependencies and requirements
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and coordinate mitigation efforts within multiple departments
Ensure project documentation is complete following outlined processes with systems, and stored in the appropriate location of record for access by all relevant stakeholders
Engage project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Use standard reporting methods to keep the leadership team updated on the standing of each project
Escalate process and communication issues to proper management and engage in discussions as needed to reach resolutions to these issues
Present project status to stakeholders as needed in meetings and in a regular cadence, prepare data and presentations
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between $107,000 - $125,000.The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Requirements:
Knowledge Skills And Abilities.
Familiarity with construction terminology and processes as it relates to the fiber / telecommunications industry.
Knowledge in state, county, and municipal utility right-of-way permits and easements.
Ability to create detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones.
Skilled in developing and managing project budgets, managing project costs and expenditures.
Capacity to assess and mitigate risks associated with construction projects and new market expansion initiatives.
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including leadership, contractors, and team members.
Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations.
Capability to lead and motivate project teams.
Education and Experience:
Familiarity with project management software and systems, construction systems preferred.
Bachelor's or post high school education in related field, PMP certification highly desirable.
Experienced using relevant tools and technologies as it relates to project management discipline.
Previous industry experience / exposure to optical fiber network design, fiber splicing, planning, and implementation preferred.
Two years’ experience in a project management role OR ability to demonstrate project management responsibilities in work experiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
