As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Stearns Roger Services with Outage Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit which is responsible for designing and upgrading nuclear reactor refueling equipment at commercial nuclear reactors. This opportunity is located in Lynchburg, Virginia.. What you will do at Framatome/Stearns Roger Engineering:
Mechanical Design Project Lead for design of commercial nuclear fuel handling equipment, for projects ranging from small to large
Coordinates all mechanical design and engineering work and other preparations which will be required to implement the contract within budget/schedule for assigned projects
Plans, organizes, implements and follows through to completion a solution to address client’s need
Represents the Company in communication with other organizations to resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work
May supervise/coordinate day-to-day project execution of mechanical engineers, designers, engineering technician in completion of specific project assignments
This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $95,000 - $129,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
