Responsibilities
The
Cybersecurity and Compliance Architect
holds a critical position, ensuring that our corporate information systems not only comply with but also excel beyond the standards set by CMMI, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001. This role demands a sophisticated blend of compliance oversight coupled with a robust technical skill set in planning, prototyping, engineering, implementing, operating, and monitoring complex information systems. The architect will ensure systems' security, enhance operational efficiency, and guarantee adherence to necessary regulatory compliance standards, with a particular emphasis on leveraging Microsoft Azure security solutions.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and work product evaluation to one or more security engineers that support Engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data
Advocate and recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.
Monitors and suggest improvement to IA policy.
Interact with customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve required IA objectives.
Provide the Government assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure, including program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
10-15 years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from and accredited college or university is required.
DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 certifications is required CASP+ CE, CISSP or CSSLP.
Four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for long periods
Standing for long periods
Ambulate throughout an office
Ambulate between several buildings
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
Travel by land or air transportation 25% or less
