Job descriptionContemporary women’s denim brand seeking an assistant graphic designer with a strong sense of layout, typography, and composition. Qualified understanding of photography, post-production, and asset management. Comfortable executing retouching, light/color profile matching, color grading, and color correcting. Seeking an inspired creative that is excited about the fashion industry and brings an artistic eye with extreme attention to detail. This permanent full-time role for a candidate who can work in a fast paced, high volume, fashion environment while maintaining accuracy.

Major Responsibilities:Provide support to head graphic designer.Creative digital assets for paid media, organic web content, social media, and digital marketing.Assist in digital design layouts, homepage formats, email templates, etc.Executive branded marketing materials for cross functional departments, as needed; invitations, lookbooks, decks, etc.Assist with product presentation accuracy in digital imagery including garment retouching and color correction.Assist with external retouching pipeline for large batch imagery.Assist with internal image/content database including file management and organization.Assist in the photo selection process.Ensure continuity in imagery across all digital platforms and internal brand collateral.Support photoshoot production as needed.Work closely with, and support, key cross functional partners; e-commerce, social, marketing, brand, and creative.

Competencies:Knowledge of studio photography and basic understanding of creative production.Strong typography and composition design skills.Experience conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding.Strong attention to detail.Highly organized, with strong multi-tasking skills.Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.Highly creative and able to find innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in graphic design, including experience executing retouching and color correction.BA/BF in Graphic Design or other related field OR equivalent work experience.Experience in fashion/apparel preferred.Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.Proficient in UX design.Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills.
