Altru Health System and Universal Health Services (NYSE: UHS) are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. The two companies are developing an inpatient behavioral health facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The goal for this facility will be to launch a new 24 bed program at the current Altru facility to accommodate both adult and pediatric patients with an additional 24 bed expansion planned for 2026.

The Controller is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, cost accounting, financial analysis, accounts payable, managing the financial accounting/close and reporting process, completing tax packages, negotiate with venders, bank reconciliations, and miscellaneous requests either from Corporate or the Institute for fiscal analysis and information.

•Manage the financial accounting close and reporting process.

•Responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, bank reconciliations and accounts payable.

•Complete tax packages.

•Provide financial analysis.

•Responsible for the facility payroll and close.

•Responsible for vendor negotiation.

•Performs other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

Five years of Accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, or Finance required, master's degree preferred.
