About this Role:

This role is the principal product architect and builder for Sponsored Display. They are responsible for defining the products' value proposition, why they are valuable to customers, and then drive vision, strategy, and execution roadmap. This role will greatly influence Sponsored Display advertising experience (controls, measurements, reporting), creative experience and go to market.

The person in this role will be required to think big, dive deep, have bias for action, and bring a history of delivering result. You will work with a cross-functional team, engaging directly with customers of all sizes and teams across the organization.

We are looking for an effective leader to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on a new, ambitious, and ambiguous program.

Key job responsibilities

-Own the Sponsored Display product strategy (incl value proposition) and roadmap

-Own Sponsored Display strategic plans (1 -3 Year product plans)

-Dive deep on customer needs both quantitatively and qualitatively - build a strong network across customers, partners/ agencies and advertising industry leaders

-Partner effectively with other leaders in product, design, engineering, science and business intelligence to influence priorities and drive alignment.

Plan and deliver on executive level goals.

About the team

Sponsored Display is Amazon Ads’ self-service display performance advertising product, empowering brands of any size to achieve their advertising objectives through simplified controls that help them reach and engage audiences across a variety of supplies in shopping and entertainment contexts. Our team is responsible to evolve the value proposition of Sponsored Display to drive brand performance advertising at scale, helping brands acquire new customers and sustainably grow customer lifecycle value. This includes building advertiser controls, experiences and recommendations. We enable advertisers to express what they want to achieve, and translate that into high performance advertising strategies. We succeed when advertisers are able to sustainably grow their brand and business at scale with our advertising product(s).

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of technical product or program management experience

4+ years of end to end product delivery experience

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience technical product management

Bachelor's degree

6+ years of digital advertising experience

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
