As a Financial Systems Lead Application Engineer you will configure and maintain our Enterprise application (OneStream platform), including, but not limited to, creating data load automations, creating new reports and dashboards, engaging stakeholders for requirements and processing consolidations and month end close.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Collaborates with enterprise applications team members and finance stakeholders to define end-user requirements, functionality specifications for OneStream functionality and data used for forecasting, people planning, budgeting, tax drill back, accounting, and other modules as needed.OneStream application development (business rules, forms, workflows, cube views and member formulas .Build and maintain data integrations, transformation and automations using APIs or other technologies.Responsible for scenario maintenance and administrative system tasks to prep for critical business cycles, i.e. budget initiation, planning cycles.Leads problem determination (root cause analysis) and documents the source of problems and their resolution. Recognizes and analyzes trends in errors to identify and install long term solutions.Develops detailed configuration parameters, custom extensions, workflow, and integration solutions along with governance to ensure consistent standardsDesigns new dashboards for key metric tracking and insights and modifies existing OneStream solutions in accordance with user specifications.Develops ad hoc analyses to support various non-standard reporting inquiries and activities. Skills and Requirements: MinimumBachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, etc.).The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 5 years' experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field and no degree.Experience with OneStream or other Financial Management/Planning tools.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.Advanced financial analysis and data analysis skills.Financial modeling using Power BI and other reporting tools.Understanding of financial statements, financial planning, and budgeting.Ability to adapt to change in accordance with the business needs of the organization.Operate with ownership, be a self-starter, and have a strong attention to detail.Strong understanding of functional area of support PreferredBS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, etc.)SQL scripting and data analysis skills.Knowledge of SDLC practices.
