Partner Development Manager-SIAP
Job Description:
The Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP) is a partnership between Sage Intacct andCPA.com(an AICPA company) that provides a wide variety of tools and benefits to help our partners build a successful outsourced accounting practice powered by Sage Intacct. The SIAP Partner Development Manager position is an integral part of the success of our SIAP partners. This role will work closely with other Partner Account Managers and their SIAP member firms to assist them in growing their SIAP practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize sales of Sage Intacct to a select group of SIAP Partners.
• Build partner engagement by acting as the primary point of contact for a select group of SIAP partners.
• Build necessary connections with support departments and colleagues to drive maximum impact for Sage (support departments may include operations, finance, enablement, product teams, education, marketing, events, PR, etc.)
• Ensure partners have sufficient access to necessary training, tools, resources, and content to be able to positively represent Sage products in the marketplace.
• Ensure the partner account is compliant with partner program requirements (code of conduct, trainings and certifications, ARR penetration, customer satisfaction, etc.).
• Establish mutually long- and short-term Goals and Objectives aligned to local market needs and Sage’s corporate mission
• Conduct ongoing assessments overarching Goals and Objectives with revenue and non-revenue KPIs
• Manage to the rhythm of the business to support their coverage model that should include regular partner meetings monthly, QBRs, and review performance against Goals and Objectives, pipeline calls, etc.
Qualifications
• BA/BS from an accredited 4-year university in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience; CPA preferred
• 3-5+ years of mid-market accounting software sales experience, in-depth expertise with core Sage Intacct product a plus, knowledge on additional & advanced mid-market ERP, and awareness/familiarity with other integrated cloud products
• Strong relationship building skills and overall comprehension of the sales cycle
• Business development, account management, and business planning skills
• Keen understanding of consultative solution selling skills and knowledge of the service industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, public speaking experience a plus
• Motivated, self-starter, who can work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and take on new responsibilities as they arise
• Drive, energy, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic
• Ability to manage, articulate and communicate in writing complex processes and solutions
• Must be collaborative and cooperative, able to engage internal resources across functional departments, articulate, and a team player, good conflict resolution skills.
