•Duration: 12 Months contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join our team and support our client, NCR Voyix, in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and hands-on experience in building and deploying applications in the cloud.
Responsibilities: •Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions. •Create and manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS, Lambda functions, and API Gateway integrations. •Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and high availability. •Automate cloud infrastructure through CloudFormation or Terraform. •Ensure security best practices are followed in AWS architecture (IAM policies, security groups, etc.). •Monitor and troubleshoot production applications using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools. •Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Required Skills: •3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.). •Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture, DevOps principles, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). •Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS Code Pipeline. •Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. •Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting. •Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. •Familiarity with AWS security best practices (IAM roles, encryption, security groups). •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot AWS services and infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications: •AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. •Experience with microservices architecture and serverless applications. •Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic. •Strong understanding of database management in the cloud (RDS, DynamoDB).
Education: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
