QA Analyst

Job Role: QA Analyst with Shell Scripting - 10+yrsLocation: Remote (USA)Job Description:• Conduct thorough and detailed quality assurance testing of company products to ensure they meet organization standards and end-user requirements.• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing such as functional, regression, performance, and integration.• Document and evaluate test results, track and manage defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.• Continuously improve QA testing processes to enhance test coverage, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.• Provide guidance and support to junior QA analysts, fostering a team environment.• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role with a proven track record in QA methodologies.• Strong knowledge of software QA tools, processes, and best practices.• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.•

Advanced understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.•

Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.•

Expertise in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting and virtualization.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.• Agile methodology adherence with flexibility to adapt in dynamic environments.
