Active Directory Engineer Specialist

Job Description: Must Haves: Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Domain Admin Experience (Min. 5 years), PowerShell (Min. 5 years) and Microsoft SCOM. AWS and Azure are preferred. Prior hands on experience with Active Directory migrations would be a big plus. Domain administration experience must have skillset for this role. The candidate will be involved in a few large projects. They are listed below: AD modernization project: The client is upgrading the domain controllers in the domain. Migrating app servers and other servers to new domain. Retiring legacy domain controller. Upgrading AD domain controller: Upgrading to 2022 OS. Upgrading 2012 (End Of Life) apps to 2019 OR 2022 version. The candidate will also be responsible for smaller tasks like managing the windows platform (certificates, Cipher suites, GPO's etc.). Service Now (Incidence response) and Jira (Ticketing system) are nice to haves. Ansible (Automation) and experience in Azure are nice to haves but not required. Training in Ansible will be given on the job. Ansible will be required for tasks after the major projects are completed. Enterprise level expertise (At least 500 users will work best for this role). Your Impact: Provide technical leadership for a team of AD engineers to think and execute proactively to ensure the stability and security of the platform. Identify, Influence, and Implement technology and processes to modernize our Infrastructure. Collaborate with IT leadership to assure visible communication, risk reduction, and accountability for the performance and stability of the AD platform. Qualifications: 5 - 8 years of experience. College Degree or equivalent experience. 4 years of experience as a Senior Level AD Engineer. 3 years of experience with PowerShell. Must have a proven sense of accountability for performance and continued improvement of execution. Must not only lead current technical trends, but also anticipate our future state technologies An eye for automating common processes. AWS / Azure experience is a plus. Ansible experience is a plus.
