Position Summary
The Data Architect will collaborate with users from various levels of management and team members to develop project/task requirements to address all inputs, dependencies, and downstream implications. Located at World Headquarters for Arrow International, this is not a remote or hybrid role.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement effective database solutions for storing and retrieving company data including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects.Create and maintain data warehouses. Design and optimize data flows across multiple ETL processes and technology platforms.Collaborate with developers, analysts, and various end users to understand business requirements, translate requirements into technical specifications, and develop project plans.Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data testing and validation processes.Troubleshoot and optimize existing SQL queries for performance improvements, reduce redundancies, and streamline data flows.Support and enhance existing databases, programs, ETLs, and integrations.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented data designs and programs.Requirements
Experience and Education
7+ years of experience designing and implementing database solutions.3+ years of experience functioning as a Data ArchitectRequires advanced Transact SQL skills and writing complex stored procedures.Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications.Experience in any of the following is a plus : SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SalesForce, Dataloader, Tableau, Power BI, Redgate, GIT, Azure, AWS, Power Automate, REST APIs, JSON, IBM iSeries, RPG, Sage, NetSuite.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
