This role will offer you the following daily challenges:Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. • Act as a primary Subcontract interface and worktogether with your Subcontract Management Teammembers to support your program.• Interface with suppliers as the focal point betweenthe subcontractor/supplier and various LMdepartments.• Initiate the LM Acquisition process - solicit RFP's,review supplier proposals, negotiate/administercontracts, and manage supplier performance.• Help develop subcontract specifications, statementsof work, and negotiate requirements and scope.• Prevent and mitigate supplier cost, schedule, andquality performance issues.• Research and evaluate procurement sources andqualification

Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either:• Englewood, CO,• Fort Worth or Houston, TX,• Huntsville, AL,• Sunnyvale, CA, or• Kennedy Space Center, FL,and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.Basic Qualifications:To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• 2+ years of professional experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense industry; and working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), as well as standard contract types.Desired Skills:To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters's degree.• Prior professional experience with preparing Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, evaluating subcontract proposals, and/or negotiating cost/price and terms & conditions.• Strong complex subcontract/contract experience, teamwork/team-building expertise, proven leadership, and negotiation skill sets.• Experience with Supply Chain Management functions and buying experience is desirable.• Familiarity with SAP/P2P enterprise resource planning software.• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Processes.• Previous experience administering FFP, CP, and T&M subcontracts to include services and material procurements.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adapting to change quickly is essential and great attention to detail.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,200 - $128,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,300 - $145,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
