to join our growing controllership team. I am so happy I took the job!"“My experience working for the company has been terrific.”What We Offer:Opportunity to oversee key financial operations and make impactful business decisions.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Growth opportunities within the company and the ability to expand your professional skills.Competitive compensation package, including benefits and performance bonuses.Title: ControllerLocation: Norwalk, CT Area (Hybrid)Potential Compensation: $170,000- - $180,000Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for two entities within the holdings company.Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Lead financial decision-making by providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and strategy execution.Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.Qualifications:10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.CPA certification or equivalent strongly preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proven ability to drive financial strategies and support business decision-making.Experience with multi-entity accounting or working in a holdings company is a plus.Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems; Oracle/SAP or similarExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
