Overview2nd shift position :
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture compenent parts
ResponsibilitiesEnsures team has proper tools to be successful
Monitors productions boards, scrap, down town for obtainment of goals, addresses issues with corrective actions, reports major variences to Department Manager
Notifies proper channels when W.I.P shortages exist
Perform set-up verification
Sets up re-work of product as needed
Ensures machine, facility upkeep
Supports development of standarized work
Supports meeting goals/programs for Safety, Environmental, ISO 14001 and TS -16949
Supervision of employees
Support Department Manager to meet safety, training, production rates, schedules, quality and quantity are met.
Trains hourly machine operators, trainers and team leaders
Coaches,counsels & reviews employees' performance, initiating corrective action when needed
Reports out on incidents/accidents, supports investigations and corrective actions
QualificationsAble to read and interpret production reports
Able to respond effectively to employee concerns
Demonstrated successful communication at all levels
Previous leadership experience
Previous automotive manufacturing experience
