Global Cloud Solutions (GCS) is a global component of CSS to build strategic service offerings, provide Pre-sales expertise and is staffed with expert solution engineers and enterprise architects.
Mission:
Assume strategic ownership of CSS portfolio domains and contribute to portfolio management and Business Development. Build compelling Service offerings for our customers, featuring the latest Oracle technologies and capabilities. Engage in Cross-LOB collaboration representing CSS to Oracle Product Management, Product Development, Product Support, Consulting and Education.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering required; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
Experience in Cloud technologies from Oracle OCI, Azure, AWS and GCP in addition to On-Prem
20+ years of IT services, including significant direct experience in services roles within multiple external IT services providers
Commercial constructs and contract management, including construction of TCO analyses and pricing for complex service offers
Large scale IT project and program management, including major transformation, migration, and solution deployment projects
Skills:
Familiarity in Oracle products and technologies in domains, such as:
Oracle OCI commercial clouds, Sovereign clouds, government clouds, Cloud@Customer, Dedicated Region & Alloy
Oracle Engineered systems such as Exadata, Private Cloud Appliance, and Database Appliance
Oracle storage technologies, such as ZDLRA, ZFS Appliances, and tape technologies
Oracle enterprise applications such as E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, Siebel, JD Edwards, etc.
OCI Services such as Autonomous Database, OAC, OIC
Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as Weblogic, IdM, SOA/BPEL/JMS
Familiarity in the following technical disciplines:
Development tools and language development in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Java, C, R
DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Jira and testing tools such as Selenium, OATS, Loadrunner and RUEI
Data Science services including design of environments requiring projects, model deployments, data science SDKs, Jupyterlab, Zeppelin notebook sessions
Monitoring tools such as OEM, O&M, Grafana, Kibana
Data structures and algorithms a must, including data processing capabilities of Spark, Kafka and data stores such as Hadoop, NoSQL, Map Reduce
Networking & Security experience: networks, subnets, route tables, gateways, DNS services, load balancers, firewalls, auditing, logging, etc.
WAN connectivity architecture and performance
Security domains: i.e. Identity and Access Management, web/database/system security, etc.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations
Enterprise storage systems configuration and optimization for enterprise apps
One or more cloud certifications: Oracle Certifications: OCI Associate Architect, OCI Architect Professional; AWS Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialist, Microsoft Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Certifications: GCP Cloud Architect Certification

Responsibilities
As a technical individual contributor, this role will provide leadership across the CSS organization and throughout Oracle by directing virtual teams and be the premier authority on domain expertise.
Scope:
Deliver services for global customers with mission critical estates in multicloud enterprise environments
Specialize in evolving areas of cloud architecture with focus on providing security, reliability, and operability for services that will be contracted by large-scale, project-based IT deployments
Incubate services from Oracle and partners in prototypes, demos, and package for delivery ready implementations
Maintain current deep knowledge in technology specialization, and act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert across Oracle and to partners and customers
Exercise comportment with extremely strong customer facing presentation and interaction skills at executive management and C-Level
Articulate service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk in presentations, at conferences and in public online venues

US: Hiring Range: from $49.66 to $95.91 per hour; from $103,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
