Cyber Security Engineer
What does a successful Cyber Security Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be a key contributor to the deployment and optimization of advanced Data Protection security controls across a large enterprise and work with various cross-functional teams both within and outside of Cyber-Security. You will also lead the deployments and technical integrations for new solutions and improve the resiliency and function of current capabilities and develop, maintain and support Fiserv's technical infrastructure including network, hardware, database, and system software components.
What you will do:
Research and design best fit infrastructure, network, database, and security architectures for products and proactively create and maintain tools for monitoring/support and participate in project planning/reporting across multiple efforts
Design complex product integration and drives configuration, debugging, and support for infrastructure and drive field and corporate rollouts of technology
Design and drive automation of products, root cause analysis, debugging, support, and post-mortem analysis for security incidents/service interruptions
Maintain, upgrade, and support existing systems and infrastructure and open and manage vendor problem tickets to resolution and drive production of in-house documentation
Monitor tools and proactively help teams with systems issues and provide application support for software running in production
Create scripts/tools that drive automation and enable product teams/end users to move towards self-service and review security data/tool outputs to identify control gaps, policy deviation or threats to enhance security controls
What you will need to have:
6+ years’ experience in platform and endpoint technologies understanding technology weaknesses and gaps and make recommendations for improvements across multiple disciplines including network, data protection, system and configuration, asset, CMDB
3+ years of experience working closely with business contacts to understand and implement Data Protection requirements for new/in-flight projects and initiatives
3+ years’ experience working with Data Protection Software like CASB, O365, Forcepoint, Broadcom, CrowdStrike, Tanium, PKWare, Guardium
2+ years’ experience developing API use cases and designing/implementing solutions aligning with defined objectives/policies/procedures, and technical control requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
3+ years’ experience implementing Cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP
2+ years’ experience in Information Security and Risk Management across Windows/ Linux systems/Z/OS in:
IAM/AD/Authentication and Authorization/SSO/Federation
Multi-Factor Authentication/Role-Based Access/Zero-Trust Model
Defense-In-Depth/Governance and Compliance
Securing Data/OS/Protecting Network Layer/Splunk/Splunk ES
Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation, Alerting, Audit Trail, and Incident Response
Certifications in CISA, CISM CISSP, CCSP, Azure/AWS/Google
