Job Summary:
The College of Professional Programs at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking a skilled and team-oriented applicant for the following position: Program Specialist 2 for EWU School of Business.
• The Program Specialist 2 for Student Support, Retention, and Community Engagement is responsible for advancing the student experience by coordinating recruitment, advising, retention strategies, and enhancing community and alumni engagement for the Schools of Business and Professional Accounting.
• This role works closely with prospective and current students, faculty, external partners, and alumni to promote student success, support program growth, and strengthen the connection between the Business School and the broader community.
• The coordinator will also manage key events, oversee data collection, and create reports that support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts within the department.
• The position's key functions will include student recruitment, support, and retention initiatives, while also fostering community partnerships and driving alumni and employer engagement. By delivering workshops, facilitating networking opportunities, and supporting professional development, this position will be instrumental in ensuring student success from enrollment through graduation and beyond.
• The salary for this position is $44,580-$51,360. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
• In addition to salary, the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement. In addition, EWU offers generous vacation and sick leave accruals, 13 paid holidays
