The Network Platform Engineering team, part of World Wide Grocery Tech, is looking for a highly experienced Wireless Network Development Engineer to architect and design global connectivity solutions. As a Lead Wireless Network Development Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for architecture, design, and scaling to meet the growing demands of our customers worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
Design and build cutting-edge, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions to support growth globally
Drive scaling of current network designs to meet the demand of our customers
Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for on-going design efforts and systems support
Work closely with our internal customers to help alleviate their problems and ensure our network continues to meet their demands
Drive operational excellence projects to drive improvements in our network quality and reliability
Work closely with our automation teams to assist in defining the tools we require
Create efficient processes that help operate and build our network
Work on new designs/solutions, bringing them from concept to in life operations
Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network adheres to these standards
Review and implement changes on the network
Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions day to day on our network

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
5+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
3+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
5+ years of enterprise wireless design and operations experience

8+ years of major internet routing protocols experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
