PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):

Performs strategic and tactical research and analysis for existing and potential service lines of business. Identifies potential federal and state government contractual business opportunities and assist to develop new lines of business through frequent, substantive contacts with acquisition officials, and program office/end-user representatives like Facility Managers, Contracting Officer Representatives and Contracting Officers in the Government space. Coordinates and synchronizes actions regarding the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) business development across all Chimes sites and supported regions. Assists in the Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD)business development tactics for across validated states. Manages BD actions, procedures, and deadlines involved with the capture management process in support of Procurement Activity addition, including compliance with the statutory, regulatory, and administrative processes of the AbilityOne Program. Enables transition of feasible business opportunities to SourceAmerica or MDWorks account managers. Manages BD-related accounts, websites and sources of data and information regarding Government Procurement opportunities for BD pipeline development and maintenance. Track progress, requirements and reports as required. Assists in Chimes efforts to increase jobs for people with significant disabilities and disabled veterans, by adding new federal service requirements to Chimes’ Procurement Activity and expanding existing business lines' market penetration SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):

Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise. REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

Associate degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. EXPERIENCE:

5 years of relevant work experience in business development, establishing new relationships with outside clients, creating long-term partnerships and databases. Department of Defense, Federal and State contracting experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Federal and State acquisition policies and regulations. Working knowledge and experience with AbilityOne Program, Federal Supply Schedule and Government (GSA & DOD) activities. Ability to thrive in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Strong Project Management skills are needed to perform successfully. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Advanced computer (Microsoft 365/Database/Excel) and internet search skills. Effective professional writing and problem-solving skills. Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail NOTE:

At the discretion of the VP of HR, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in lieu of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
