Position Overview:

The Systems Architect will provide the technical leadership for deployment aspects of our software products covering ease of deployment, system performance, availability, and application security. This will be a key position within the development organization providing technical direction and oversight of cyber range engineering teams.

Position location is Fort Meade, MD and full time on-site.

Responsibilities:Develop and evolve virtual system architectures and designs in a complex system of virtual environments.Work with JCTE teams to ensure the design of new capabilities, and enhancements to existing capabilities meet the deployment objectives for the product and adhere to technology and system architectural guidelines.Provide Leadership and direction in determining performance metrics.Assist in implementation of complex software.Assess the feasibility of incorporating new technologies in product designs.Assess complexity and effort in implementing new products capabilities and features.Assist engineering teams in diagnosing complex virtual system problems.Required Experience/Qualifications:

The candidate should have excellent communication skills and significant industry experience in providing technical leadership for system design and development efforts.Developing and/or extending architectural models/views from which detailed design and component construction can be done.Developing and performing architecture tradeoff comparisons based on architecture modeling results.Collecting, assimilating, and analyzing performance data that supports the architecture model.Computing and demonstrating architecture modeling results.Monitoring system-wide actual performance results, comparing these results with architecture models, analyzing differences, identifying areas of concern, and leading performance investigations and optimization efforts as needed.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.Minimum 10 plus years of systems engineering/software development experience.Experience in hosted application deployment, system load testing and load balancing technologies.Special Requirements/Security Clearance:

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.

Salary Range:

Salary Minimum: $200,000, Salary Maximum: $230,000

The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. When extending an offer, CESI also considers other variables such as (but not limited to) work experience, education, training, skill set, internal peer equity, clearance level, and market conditions.
