Yours included.We are hiring for a fully onsite position in the OR environment, providing support for hardware and software utilized in clinical care. The schedule usually consists of four 10-hour workdays, with the requirement to rotate days of the week within the team. Join our team as we support 28 operating rooms and 4 procedure rooms in the Gastroenterology procedure unit, along with other perioperative locations including Preop and PACU.

The Applications Support Specialist II shall be responsible for:Facilitating and implementing system additions and modifications.Monitoring error reports and resolving or coordinating resolution of malfunctions.Monitoring and maintaining systems security and providing training to users.Assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation studies for projects and serving as project manager for department significant projects and upgrades.Helping to support the development of planning activities and providing technical support in data gathering and analysis. Collecting and retrieving data and tabulating quantitative statistics from system databases. Suggesting system improvements to improve department workflows and productivity.Arranging for service of system hardware and other devices as required. Troubleshooting system software problems and user difficulties.Acting as a resource to support staff and managers in resolving application issues.Preparing documentation on system applications.To qualify, you must have:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in computer science or a closely related field.1 year of experience.Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well developed writing skills.Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
