Pelican Energy is looking for a Senior Project Manager with at least 10+ years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, CO2 Capture and Transportation Industry, or Chemical Industry.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Experienced Project Manager proficient managing multi-discipline engineering and design projects with engineering budgets of $50,000 to $5,000,000 in the Oil and Gas Industries, CO2 Capture and Transportation Industry, or Chemical Industry. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be required to plan, execute, monitor, and control all aspect of the project. Directly interface with multiple clients and lead project engineering and design teams. Manage interdisciplinary communication and coordination. Technical background with the ability to understand and evaluate the technical content of design drawings. Develop and strengthen relationships with clients.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Senior Project Manager should be able to perform the following:

lanning• Meet with proposal manager and ensures full understanding of stakeholder expectations, scope of work, deliverables, budget, schedule, and quality requirements• Set up initial kickoff meeting with client and obtains alignment of project goals, communication requirements, deliverables, budget, schedule, and quality requirements• Coordinate formation of the project team with department heads, including assignment of PE of record for each discipline• Prepare detailed scope of work, design basis, schedule and validate with engineering and design teams• Ensure engineering design leads develop execution plans and update the project controls systems. Validates execution plans.
Executing• Provides team leadership and high-level review of technical execution• On small projects perform engineering or project engineering task• Lead weekly status review and design meetings to:• Ensure interdisciplinary communication and coordination• Review status of task, deliverables, quality, and quality processes• Review and Update Scope, Schedule, Budget, and Forecast• Monitor and control change• Lead management of change and issue change orders to client• Ensure execution plans are updated when approval of change in scope, schedule, quality, or deliverables is received• Maintain the appropriate level of client communication: phone calls, emails, status meetings, status reports, in person meetings, and team reviews, etc.• Track Project Progress and issue Progress Reports to client weekly.• Maintain the appropriate level of communication with Management• Ensure project team follows company policies and procedures• Perform lessons learned on each project during project execution phase• Mentor engineers and designers.
