What We’re Looking For:

As a Senior Network Engineer at Amicus Networx, you will play a crucial role in defining our network management processes, designing & implementing company network standards within our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and executive team to ensure the success of all network implementation and installations. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring a secure, efficient, and scalable network environment that supports the business's technological needs. You take pride in embracing and adapting to the ongoing transformation of the technology field and working to keep Amicus Networx at the forefront of this environment. A core competency to this role is the expertise to flawlessly handle Aruba networking and Palo Alto firewall products.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate comprehensive long and short-term project plans. Responsibilities may encompass defining schedules, identifying milestones, and establishing expectations to meet project deadlines effectively.

Act as a liaison between all customers for the entire facility, including network requests, work orders (via Ticketing system) and overall operation management

Conduct ongoing quality control assessments during project development to uphold the expected standards.

Configure, maintain and deploy Aruba network solutions, including Aruba switching, wireless access points, controllers, ClearPass and Aruba Meridan.

Implementation of critical network infrastructure upgrades and expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security.

Recommend and implement upgrades to maintain optimal network performance.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical skills of the service center and advanced support teams.

Generating, revising, resolving, or escalating incidents in adherence to company policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

What Our Requirements Are:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing enterprise-level networks.

Extensive knowledge in networking protocols, Wi-Fi protocols, security, and troubleshooting.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with specific expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Aruba network solutions and Palo Alto firewalls.

In-depth proactive knowledge of Aruba networking products, including AOS, CX, Aruba Mobility Master, and Aruba ClearPass.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute complex projects.

Ability to work with a variety of hardware, software, and networking technologies.

Certifications such as Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or equivalent, are highly desirable.

Must demonstrate knowledge of Level 2 & Level 3 networking, TCP/IP protocol, routing and switching (ACLs, static routes, NAT, VLANs, trunking, STP, DNS, DHCP, etc...)

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Excellent project management skills.
