FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.Your areas of responsibility:The Business Development Manager - Rotary Motion is responsible for accounts within the rotary motion segment including air & gas compressors, gear drives, refrigeration compressors, and other rotating equipment. This position reports to the segment leader and collaborates with the business development team as well as segment representatives through the Ultrachem business unit. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to cultivate and manage new opportunities and projects within a jointly established list of segment targets and maintain a goal of long-term strategic growth within the rotary motion and related segments. Specific responsibilities will include:Proactively develops business opportunities with existing and new target accountsOperates in a global BDM network to drive new opportunities in the US marketCoordinates business regionally as an interface between the Key Account and FUCHS stakeholdersAssists in negotiating supply agreements along with terms and conditions.
Qualifications we are looking for:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Businessrequired, MBA preferred5+ years experience in a similar business development and / or and key account managementProven experience in initiating, managing, and closing sales processes in rotary motion segment targetsTechnical knowledge of industrial applications preferred; experience with lubricants/specialty chemicals is a plusProficiency in use of MS-Office 360 applications and CRM (Salesforce desired)Up to 60% travel primarily within the US in addition to Canada and Mexico depending upon business needs.
