Job Description:
Coordinates HRIS data entry including Qualifying Events, COBRA administration, Open Enrollment, etc.
First point of contact for general/ad hoc queries for the team
Conduct weekly New Hire Benefits Orientation
Respond to emails in shared Benefit mailbox and phone inquiries
Assist in administration of US health and welfare programs including health insurance (insured and self-insured), life insurance, accident insurance, short and long-term disability, leave, and worker’s compensation
Assist in US wellness program for 2,600 employees including organization of annual on-site Health and Wellness Fairs, flu shots and numerous health and fitness programs offered throughout the year
Assistance with day to day administration of the Benefits function
Prepares reports for management as needed
Maintains vendor contacts in assisting employees with information
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in-house administration
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health plan administration
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field from accredited four-year university required
Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (HCM)
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Windows applications
Ability to work within a metrics-driven, transactional type environment
