Job Title: APIGEE Integration Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Onshore APIGEE Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team in Atlanta. As an APIGEE Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using Apigee platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable API solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop API solutions using Apigee Edge platform to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to understand API integration needs and design appropriate solutions. Implement API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols. Develop API policies and proxy services for data transformation, routing, and rate limiting. Integrate APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party applications. Ensure high performance and availability of APIs by conducting performance testing and optimizing API implementations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations, performance, and security. Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and support API implementations. Document API designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in API management and integration.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4 to 5 years of proven experience as an APIGEE Integration Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Apigee Edge platform, including API development, policy management, and security implementation. In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Experience integrating APIs with various backend systems, databases, and third-party applications. Solid understanding of API security standards, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex integration issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
