A reputable Manufacturing leader is searching for a

Materials Manager

Materials Manager Experience:The main function of this role is to lead our sourcing and purchasing process and establish strong relationships with stakeholders.Receive purchase requisitionsVendor/Supplier managementCheck the quality of delivered items and follow up with suppliers if errors are foundWork with all suppliers to source the best quality products and place orders at the right priceResearch, identify and develop relationships with new sources of suppliers for the company that meet criteria including (but not limited to) price, quantity, quality and timelinessNegotiate and manage relationships with existing network of suppliers and vendorsManage inventory levels and ensure proper coverage based on our forecastReport on key performance indicators and look for ways to improve week over weekLeverage available data and reports to understand ops performance and drive changes based on those insightsMaterials Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related industry required5+ years of industry experienceExtensive supply chain management experience necessary with an emphasis on inventory management in a related industryStrong critical thinking and problem solving, works well under pressureStrong negotiation skills requiredExcellent technology skills including ERP and Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
