JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Lead will lead the marketing initiatives and execution for DMV-region locations including social media, email communication, and website content updates. This position collaborates heavily with the gym leadership to support local gym goals and the marketing team (including creative, email marketing, growth, and sales) to localize national campaigns and support company and department goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead regional marketing plans based on national strategies to build brand awareness, acquire new customers, convert customers, and support member retention.Develop and execute regional marketing efforts across platforms including but not limited to email, social media, website, influencers, and others focusing on promotions, gym offerings like programs/setting/retail, events + community engagement, and brand campaigns.Create, post, and respond to DMs and comments on social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook (other platforms may be added).Create content used across platforms including social media, blogs, and emailMaintain regional calendars for email campaigns, social media content, and annual plans.Monitor and analyze KPIs. Adjust tactics as needed to help maximize return and share reporting of those efforts to marketing and operational teams.Manage simultaneous projects including using effective prioritization, utilizing project management, and communicating regularly on status, needs, and blocks.Serve as the liaison between national marketing team and regional gym teams providing support, education, and guidance as needed.Regularly meet with local teams to align priorities and collaborate on projectsAdvise gym operational leadership on opportunities around partnerships, events, press, in-gym collateral, outreach, and other marketing tactics.Keep up to date on best practices and current industry trends to continuously improve efforts.Brainstorm, execute, and share new ideas to improve campaign performance regionally,Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and customer experience in marketing initiatives.Some design for collateral as needed based on brand playbook.JOB REQUIREMENTS
3+ years marketing experienceMust have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detailMust be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, make decisions, and meet deadlinesAdaptable, resourceful, and able to succeed in fast-paced, evolving environmentsHave excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a teamSolid computer skills (web-based applications, word, excel, social media platforms, etc.)Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketingSkilled at writing and proofing in several different communication formatsUnderstand of basic photography and videography skills using a phone or iPadExperience with Asana or other project management softwareKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This role is a full-time position located in the DMV region and will require travel between the Columbia, Hampden, Timonium, Rockville, and Crystal City gyms, and will support the opening of our Fairfax location. This role will oversee multiple locations and reports to the Regional Marketing Manager. This position will work with both a remote marketing team as well as partner with the local operations team. Day-to-day will be remote but will require weekly visits to gyms.
The pay range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
