Day ShiftDuties:
Supervision & Coordination: Directs and supervises technical functions, manages activities in assigned areas.Personnel Management: Prepares work schedules, assigns tasks, evaluates performance, and recommends personnel actions.Training: Trains employees on daily procedures.Budget & Goals: Assists in budget development and setting department goals and objectives.Analysis & Research: Conducts surveys, comparative analyses, and may participate in research; investigates and recommends new products, equipment, and methodologies.Consultation: Consults with medical staff and healthcare providers on laboratory-related services.Quality & Projects: Participates in quality assessments and various department/system-wide projects.Medical Technologist Duties: Performs tests and procedures as part of regular duties.Requirements:
BS degree, ASCP certification or equivalent upon hire, and prior experience as a Medical Technologist .
