The Recruitment Specialist contributes to the efficiency of our agency by ensuring staffing needs are met effectively through sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommendation of the most qualified candidates. Provides analytical reporting to support improvement of recruiting efforts. Increases retention by providing supportive, informative guidance to employees through assessments, 1:1 career coaching, mentoring and referrals to support services to enable them to gain the skills and knowledge necessary for advancement.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and fill employment gapsAdvise hiring managers and employees on staffing policies and proceduresFocus recruiting/sourcing efforts on priority positionsDevelop strong partnerships and relationships with internal partnersEnter recruitment and hiring dataSource and screens to identify potential candidatesConduct in-person and phone interviews with candidatesServe in expert role as System Administrator for applicant tracking systemEnsure timely correspondence with applicantsTrack goals and metrics for the recruiting and hiring processHandle administrative duties and recordkeepingSupport Recruiting Manager in managing the recruitment budget
Provide coaching support to associates in the creation of their development plansParticipate in continuing education as it relates to job knowledge and competencies by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations and networking eventsMaintain knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act, EEO, Affirmative Action, OFCCP, ADA and other related guidelines and laws
QualificationsThe Recruitment Specialist will be an outgoing leader with the following:College degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, or related field1-3 years high volume recruiting, servicing multiple job requisitions or postings at one time, and related work experience preferredStrong interpersonal skillsApplicant tracking system experienced preferredStrong calendar management and scheduling experienceProject and event coordinationExperience in providing feedback and coaching othersAbility to establish and maintain relationshipsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitaskExceptional computer skillsKnowledge of hiring lawsHigh standards of confidentiality due to access of very sensitive informationAbility to self-manage and take initiative with a passion for diversityMust have and maintain reliable transportation, clean MVR, valid license and insurance
