Why Standard Fleet?

Electric vehicles are superior for just about every business use case. Businesses are rapidly adopting them but lack the software infrastructure to unlock their true value. Our mission is to accelerate the commercial adoption of electric vehicle fleets by setting the standard in EV fleet management.

Every member of the Standard Fleet team is fueled by an unwavering passion for the electrification of transportation and is deeply committed to making our products better. We come from companies like Apple, Uber, Tesla, Stripe, Robinhood, Yelp, and Embark. We've gained significant customer traction with a small team and want your help to grow faster.

Standard Fleet is well-funded and backed by some of Silicon Valley's top investors. We were founded by David Hodge, who previously founded Embark. At Embark, the team built a popular transportation app used by millions, which was eventually sold to Apple.

We're seeking an application engineer with a focus on building features that interact with low-level systems like Bluetooth and NFC. You'll be working on the foundational technology that connects electric vehicles with our software, enabling seamless communication between vehicles, charging stations, and Standard Fleet's systems. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of a rapidly evolving market with enormous growth potential.
