POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in the designated service line. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicates proactively with our HR department and business management. The HRBP formulates partnerships within the service lines to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization/service line. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture, and its competition.

POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS

:• High School/GED required• Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field, (e.g. HR, Business Management, Psychology, etc.)• Associates Degree with years of experience in a related field preferred• Advanced computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.• Some evening or weekend work will be required.• Bilingual: English/Spanish required• ATS/HRIS/HCM experience preferred

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

:• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR/employee relations

Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management.Healthcare industry experience a plus.Skill in establishing a balanced perspective on mission effectiveness and business results is critical.Knowledge of State and Federal employment regulations.JCAHO knowledge preferred.POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

Promotes the facility mission, vision, and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision, and values in developing policies, and practices.Conduct periodic meetings with Sr. HR Business Partner and respective service line directors, managers and/or supervisors.Consult with HR Director to provide HR guidance as applicable.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations from beginning to end to include follow-up conversations.Performs all status changes, terminations, (PARS) and return employees from LOA's for their dedicated servicelines.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, minimizing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.Maintain licenses and certifications for employees in each assigned service line (enter, validate and update).Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Assist directors, managers/supervisors with administering and correcting employee counselings as needed.Responsible for reviewing and auditing employee files in preparation for designated audits from accrediting agencies such as JCAHO, CAP, CARF, etc.Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.May assist employees with immigration and related HR matters.Provide guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning.Identify training needs for business units and individual within service lines as it relates to HR.
