Primary Purpose:

The PCMS Specialist must have PCMS and RBI experience to do the following: review inspection reports, ensure inspectors capture all of the inspection information needed in PCMS, take ownership of monthly reporting of KPI's. This position is expected to interpret internal and external vessel and piping reports, evaluate ultrasonic thickness (UT) readings including questionable variances in the readings, enter these readings and reports into PCMS software, maintain and update the data within the PCMS database, create and run reports and work with CLNG engineering staff and contract inspectors to ensure all applicable gas processing equipment is maintained according to API standards.

This position is located in Hackberry, LA. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Accurately interpret vessel and piping external/ visual and ultrasonic inspection reports.Assist Mechanical Integrity improvement through maintenance of Key Performance Indicators and PCMS health checks.Efficiently run daily activities within PCMS software to include verifying SAP functional location linkage, verification of components, circuits and CMLs.Monitor and analyze anomalies and questionable variances of UT readings that would require immediate verifications of the inspections to ensure accuracy.Ensure the UT readings are accurately recorded to the correct location and reflect the correct equipment, piping or fitting specification(s).Perform equipment and CML moves and changes for piping circuits and equipment as needed.Communicate with inspectors to mitigate data discrepancies, technical PCMS database issues, and notification of inspections due.Generate monthly Due Point Reports for recurring inspections to alert inspectors, technicians and other personnel of requirements.Maintain and update data in PCMS software as needed by continuously evaluating the data in PCMS to improve the MI program efficiency.Create and run reports in PCMS to evaluate previous inspections and identify equipment information needed for such tasks as future budgeting, Fitness-For-Service reports, piping replacements, etc.Coordinate and prepare inspector requests for field verifications.Oversight of Inspection space in SharePoint and OpenText.Coordinate with PCMS/ Mistras for software issues and recommendations.Provide PCMS training, mentoring, presentation, step-by-step instruction, and any training materials required.Assist and provide guidance to contracted data implementation personnel.Work with Company and non-company personnel, take direction from manager(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to work schedules.Assigns new line/ equipment identification numbers as needed.Responsible for clamp/ temporary repair list.Performs other duties as assigned

Education:

High school diploma requiredExperience:

Minimum 5 years operational experience with PCMSRisk-based Inspection (RBI)Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Integrity experiencePCMS Level I & II ImplementationExperience in Oil and Gas Industry to understand piping, vessels, heaters, tanks, fittings, valves, etc. and the related specificationsExperience with Refinery or Plant Inspection and NDE experienceSkills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body.Must be willing to be on call and work overtime as required.Must be willing to travel for trainings as required.
