Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I in the Administration Division, the Senior Personnel Specialist serves as the expert journey level staff resource for all of the Office of Tax Appeals personnel/payroll transaction functions. The Senior Personnel Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and responsibilities involving payroll, retirement, and benefits and research critical personnel and payroll transaction problems and recommends alternative solutions.
