Title:

Product Designer The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mentality as well as grounding in design thinking as a way to rethink our business. An understanding of customer research, knowledge gathering, ideation, prototyping, design process and concept visualization/prototyping are vital for this role.

This position reports to the Director of Product Design and their key responsibilities include:

Think thru and communicate concepts visually using techniques like journey mapping, storyboards and sketching, and light prototyping to communicate visual/interaction design conceptsCollaborate with Product Management to define best-in-class customer and ssociate experience for key fulfillment initiatives.Responsible for the design process of product features and iterations, developing design solutions for new problems and improvements to existing features across multiple areas and applications (app and websites).Takes learnings from competitive analysis and identifies opportunities based on multiple data points: business strategy, customer needs and competitive learning.Uses research insights to address user needs and design solutions.ble to design and constructively critique effective experiences for end-users.nticipates and invites feedback to improve work product and self with a constructive mindsetDelivers competent design solutions. Solicits feedback from leadership and provides timely updates.ble to build on design language through insight-driven modifications and suggestions.Identifies opportunity for collaboration. Initiates conversations with product and tech teams to discuss ideas.

What we are searching for

Qualifications:Education/Experience:3+ years relevant professional experience required, BS/BA degree required, Graduate studies preferred

Communication Skills:Must be able to clearly communicate, sell, articulate and can advocate design rationale

Design Specific Skills:

3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: user experience, information architecture, or creative design.Internet and retail experience strongly preferred.strong product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve customer needsdvance in design and prototyping tools (eg. Figma)Usability and customer-focused design experience required.Passionate about building great user experiences and solving customer and business problems.
