Responsibilities & Duties
The Human Resources Department works closely with leadership to safeguard and maintain GRM culture. In collaboration with the Human Resources Director and the HR team, lead the area of employee recruitment, hiring, and compensation. The Human Resources Department is committed to providing excellent, consistent, high-quality service to our employees. The HR Generalist, together with the HR Team is assigned to partner with all GRM employees for specific HR-related tasks. Warmly greet all guests, including, but not limited to, visitors, volunteers, vendors, employees, guests, donors; community groups, church groups, and public officials Establish and build healthy Christ-honoring relationships with employees, guests, and volunteers while maintaining professional boundaries, including guest confidentiality In collaboration with the Human Resources Director, actively participate and maintain the Standards of Excellence Maintain an environment of love, grace, dignity and respect Oversee and schedule new employee onboarding (including current employees) Oversee and schedule all core training Oversee, collect, and maintain all training records, such as new employee basic training and ongoing personal & professional development Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, training and development, and employment law Organize and prepare all training materials, visual aids, and other educational materials Coordinate training activity for all training programs; book training rooms, manage invites to attendees, and track training attendance In collaboration with the Human Resources Director, effectively manage the recruiting HRIS system Perform searches for qualified job candidates using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, external job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees based on departmental needs Coordinate and oversee GRM quality job fairs Posting job discerption requisition Screens applications and selects qualified candidates Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments Screens all 1st and 2nd interview toolkits Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials Participate in interviews Notify applicants and candidates of application status Collaborates with the Human Resources Director and manager/director during the process of identifying and recommending starting pay ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law Schedules and conducts Pre-Employment Screening Conducts reference checks Generate monthly reports to track and report performance data need for the Employee Scorecard Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement and recognition initiatives geared towards fostering a positive, safe work environment and promoting teamwork Review bi-weekly timesheets for payroll preparation Summit HR Actions for new hires, employment departures, employment status changes, etc. Comply with all state and federal verification requirements Process workers comp claims for GRM team employees Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Maintain organized employee files and HR records Attend professional training and networking opportunities as directed General administrative office assistance as directed Attend employee meetings and devotions as directed Other duties as assigned Reports to:

Requirements
2 years of experience in Human Resources-related positions such as recruitment, hiring, and compensation Knowledge or experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Knowledge or experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) a plus 2-plus years of experience with people development, leading, or supervision Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local laws Basic knowledge of labor and employment law regulations and best practices Advanced certification, such as Professional (PHR) in Human Resources, a plus Trustworthy with confidential information Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities Efficient in working independently and as a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication skills, payroll, and Human Resources software Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking Leadership and coaching skills Emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and must have a clean driving record Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must be an evangelical Christian, living a life dedicated to Christ, and be an instrument of God's love, grace, hope, and forgiveness to all Physical Demands:
This individual will come in contact with ill and contagious individuals and must take precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Mental Demands:
