Sales Executive's primary purpose is to drive new business growth within the agency. Sales Executive's will develop and maintain favorable customer relationships with bothnew and existing customers. Providing theirreview of existing coverage, risk, and exposure to allow for recommendations, suggestions and proposals ofinsurance products and risk management solutions that meet customer risk profile's and create customer satisfaction. Ensures that proposed solutions will meet customer's risk tolerance and exposures properly. Will develop and execute individual business plans to meet sales and growth goals as assigned by management. Sales Executives are expected to grow their book of business year over year.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience (required)

3+ years of successful business to business and personal sales experience (required)

Professional Insurance designation or ability to obtain within 12 months



Skills and Abilities:

To be successful in this position it takes a professional who posses the right combination of excellent communication skills, good judgment, business acumen, and sound analytical skills.

Advanced knowledge and commitment to continuing education with Property & Casualty middle market insurance products and risk management solutions.

Proven relationship building skills to support business development efforts (internal, external, COI)

Ability to work with regional banking and insurance teams to achieve mutual business development and retention goals.

Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.

Requires effective verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships.

Must be self-directed and be able to accomplish work with limited supervision and general work direction.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Agency management software solutions.

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

Property & Casualty Broker's license and/or Life, Accident, and Health license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Valid Driver's license (required)

Tasks Performed:

50% Achieve individual revenue and growth goals by prospecting, developing, and closing middle market new business opportunities.

30% Achieve individual customer retention targets through the successful delivery of risk management advisory services, account cross selling, and general customer service.

15% Work closely with regional banking partners to achieve mutual business development goals.

5% All other tasks as assigned by management.

Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers

Stationary 50% of time

Move about within or between locations

Bend, Twist, Crouch, Squat

Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
