The Director - New Market Growth is responsible for executing Comprehensive Primary Care's strategic goals to expand to new markets through building new (de novo) practice sites. This role blends strategy of identifying and prioritizing new locations with managing complex projects and multiple teams to ensure new sites are built and operationalized. Duties include evaluating and prioritizing markets for expansion, site selection, projecting financial performance of new sites, partnering with real estate team to manage design and construction, and overseeing the operational launch of new sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with strategy team to evaluate market data and trends to identify and prioritize markets.Regularly reviews model and refines as new data / insights evolve.Identifies, evaluates and select new sites, with support of real estate broker.Interacts with real estate, legal, and construction management teams to coordinate economic and legal terms of LOI and execution of lease.Develops assumptions and partners with finance to model financial and growth projections for new sites.Directs architectural firm for practice design and coordinates with construction management team to ensure on time / on budget delivery of the site.Manages the complex intricacies and relationships during a new site design and build - including the construction management team, real estate, finance, operations, and HR / recruiting.Oversees practice launch team (practice manager and support team) to ensure the execution of the new site launch.Ensures practices are compliant with all relevant local, state, and federal guidelines as well as CPC policies and programs (including HIPAA, privacy, medical records, OSHA, general compliance).Identify best practices and implement strategies to accelerate growth to new sites.Oversees practice transition to Practice Administrator and Regional Leadership post go-live.Until practice operations transition (90 days post go-live), works with Practice Administrator and physician Leads to enhance operations, resolve patient complaints, and optimize capacity and productivity for each clinic.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, or related fieldMasters degree and/or certification in project management (PMP) preferred8+ Years of Experience in Healthcare with a focus on service growth / expansion5+ Years of experience in managing complex project management and execution and people leadershipExperience with physician enterprise and real estate design and construction preferredStrong project management and leadership skills
