DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a

Lead/Chief Enterprise Security Architect

to join our team on an upcoming contract supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This individual will provide leadership in the design, implementation, and management of VA's Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA), ensuring compliance with federal mandates, and supporting technologies such as TIC 3.0, ZTA, mobile technologies, medical devices, and DevSecOps.Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of VA's enterprise security architecture, including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) 3.0 frameworks.

Architect and guide the adoption of secure mobile technologies, medical devices, and cloud environments across the VA.Collaborate with key VA stakeholders to align the security architecture with VA business objectives, executive orders, and federal cybersecurity mandates.Develop security reference architectures, risk analysis frameworks, and design patterns that address VA's specific operational and compliance needs.Provide guidance on cybersecurity policies and ensure adherence to NIST, CISA, and OMB directives.Oversee the integration of security technologies into the VA's DevSecOps processes.Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and provide strategic direction for mitigating risks across the VA's systems.Lead efforts to create secure, scalable, and compliant IT systems while supporting the implementation of proactive risk management strategies.Ensure collaboration between technical and business teams for the seamless implementation of security solutions.Maintain alignment with VA's long-term goals for secure, integrated service delivery and mission success.Qualifications

Active or ability to obtain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust clearance.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise security architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or TOGAF.Proven experience with cybersecurity architecture frameworks such as TIC 3.0, Zero Trust, and security design patterns.In-depth knowledge of government and industry standards, including NIST 800 series, CISA frameworks, and OMB directives.Strong background in DevSecOps, risk management, and security policy development.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex security solutions in a federal environment.Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
