What We Need:
Brady is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our software development teams, using modern development practices and latest technology stack. Bring your engineering strengths and passion, to help Brady create industry leading ecommerce solutions that meet the safety, identification, asset tracking and compliance needs of our global customers. The core purpose of this position is to design and develop the next generation of ecommerce solutions. If you love to solve complex problems, working with new development frameworks/cloud-based technologies and pushing the envelope on existing technologies, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Designing and developing ecommerce solutions using best practices of software development
Adjust priorities and deliver business value as part of a scrum team
Work with and mentor junior engineers
Automate select systems administration tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools
Proposes technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems
Analyze monitoring and system performance data and provide improvement recommendations to product and system owners
Provide monitoring support and troubleshooting for all tier-one customer-facing services
Performs other duties as required
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience, preferably in web architectures
Experience with web development using C#, .NET, and current Javascript frameworks (primary skill)
Experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, as well as using existing Web services
Experience with the package managers (e.g. NPM, NuGet)
Proficient in TDD with the desire to coach novice developers on the topic
Ability to diagnose and debug issues within development environments and customer solutions
Experience with version control & continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, TFS, Git)
