JOB DESCRIPTION:The core goal of Araceli Biosciences is to accelerate drug discovery by bringing advanced, AI-driven tools to market. Araceli is looking for a Software Developer who will be a self-starter with user interface domain experience. They will be a strong contributor with experience and expert knowledge of front-end languages, excellent visualization and communication skills. The candidate should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, yet cohesive team. This role will be developing highly sophisticated applications with a team goal of crafting groundbreaking system control software that focuses on creating a positive overall user experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing state-of-the-art UI (user interface) running on Windows Desktop for the end user.

Integrating and working with external libraries for hardware controls.

Presenting updated front-end designs for final sign-off.

Crafting application design mockups with improved UI features.

Collaborate regularly with the product and engineering teams on application features and design ideas.

Researching application designs and UI modules.

Develop, test, debug, deploy, and monitor your code through all states of the software development lifecycle.

Interact with other team members on best practices for code development, debug and maintenance.

Updating applications in line with user trends and feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field, or 5+ years of meaningful, relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability (5+ years) with object-oriented programming.

Language(s): C#, .NET, WinUI3, WPF, XAML, and UI frameworks.

Experience with Async and thread synchronization in C#.

Experience with XAML and data binding in C#.

Experience with Visual Studio.

Experience using concurrency versioning systems such as git.

Experience with unit testing frameworks and writing unit/developer tests

Knowledge and experience implementing wireframe prototypes.

In-depth knowledge of user experience, user interface models, and application design.

Some knowledge of scientific instrument control, industrial automation, or machine vision.

Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude with great problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced iterative development environment with continuous delivery.

JOB LOCATION:This position is on-site at our Tigard, OR headquarters (located on Tech Center Drive off 72nd). This role is expected to work on-site, during regular business hours.
