Your role in helping us shape the future:

U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. As a data analyst on our Money team, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to guide the development of products and services from conception to launch, and engage closely with our partnerships and editorial teams to help maximize success on both fronts. The primary responsibilities of the Data Analyst are Providing tactical support to product managers through the entire development lifecycle, including assisting with technical specifications and QA. Analyzing key metrics to understand product performance, including running A/B tests, predictive modeling, and dashboard development Generate revenue yield analysis and recommendations on partner campaigns/budgets (including both paid media and on page placements across the US News experience) Access and manipulate large external datasets to enable our editorial experts to publish unique data driven content pieces and advice Are you up to the challenge?

Proven ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment while maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines Develop and maintain positive working relationships stakeholders across multiple functions and teams Effectively share and communicate data insights and analysis across different parts of the organization from engineers to executives Position Requirements

You should definitely have:

Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, economics, computer science, or any other relevant fields Minimum 5 years' experience coding with statistical software packages, preferably STATA Expert level proficiency in SQL, R, SAS, Python or other data science programming languages Ability to work with large datasets and summarize key insights Data mining, analysis, and presentation skills Proficiency using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to summarize and present data in a concise and easy to understand manner Strong research skills and the ability to answer questions with internal and external data sources Experience presenting analyses to non-technical audiences with simple explanations Attention to detail, organization and time management are your strengths It would be nice if you have:

Experience with reporting/tracking tools including Google Analytics Up-to-date knowledge on Internet publishing and metrics, with an acute understanding of SEO What it's like to work with us:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. #LI-REMOTE
