Kadiak LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring for an experienced Project Manager to support our Federal client. The Technical Project Manager provides acquisition support, engineering and technical project management of complex fixed and mobile communications modernization projects. The Project Manager will work in a team environment having daily interaction with Government representatives. Must possess acquisition experience.
Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly. Please do not apply for this position if you do not possess the requisite Top Secret Clearance.

Essential Functions:
• Identifies, tracks, and resolves all project risks and issues
• Establishes, modifies, implements and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow
• Experience maintaining several schedules at any given time for various projects in various stages
• Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies and industry best practices
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
• Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively, as well as having the ability to lead a team if required.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully, cordially and freely with people (customers, employees and vendors inclusive)
• Must have excellent leadership abilities
• Must be able to motivate other employees when needed
• Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task at all times
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision
• Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Must have the ability to work as a ‘link person’ or middle person amongst customers, employees, and vendors
• Must possess at least a basic knowledge of supply chain activities
• Must have good time management ability so as to be able to meet up with orders and schedules
Requirements:
• Must possess a current active Top Secret clearance based on a T5/T5R investigation concluded within the past 42 months, and be SCI eligible. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT. Cleared for Presidential Support Duty (PSD) OPTIMAL
• Program Management Certification: Threshold is PMP; Objective is DAWIA; Both would be Optimal. If not held, certification may be obtained on a fully reimbursed basis subsequent to hire
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products®, (Microsoft® Project©, Power Point©, Microsoft® Word©, and Microsoft® Excel©)
• 7 years of specific experience (including acquisition), and 10 years of general experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project/Program Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. Equivalent professional government or commercial program management experience may be substituted in lieu of education
• Program Management (PMP) Certification required within 6 months of employment
Required Tools/Technologies:
• Ability to apply principles of project management to developing large, complex schedules
• Experience working closely with a Project Management Office (PMO) to contribute to processes for continuous improvement

Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 (hybrid performance)
Clearance Required:
Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly. Position requires T5 investigation within the past 42 months.
Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
