As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at i-PRO Americas, your primary focus will be to grow the pipeline and meet individual sales targets. Our BDM's pursue new opportunities within our Mission Critical vertical markets, including Arenas and Venues, Public Utilities and Citywide Surveillance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue by qualifying prospects, managing the sales process, and closing new business. You will work closely with our Sales Development team, as well as the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) in your region to refine your target list, develop new leads, and bring value to our channel partners.

Key Responsibilities Drive demand in key verticals in our Mission Critical space (Arenas and Venues, Public Utilities and Citywide Surveillance) by creating a territory plan to achieve or exceed quota. Prospect, qualify and develop new opportunities to add to the pipeline. Coordinate with internal resources such as Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales to create new opportunities and close business. Develop strategic relationships with external vendor partners as a source of lead generation. Be meticulous with Salesforce and other pipeline management tools to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting. Participate on behalf of the company in industry conferences and events. Be able to deliver the i-PRO value proposition for our full suite of products and perform compelling software demonstrations that lead the prospect to take the next step. Support Channel Partners in closing enterprise deals that may involve many influencers and stakeholders. Travel requirements up to 75% including trade shows, customer needs and business development activity.

Education & Experiences

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a relevant role. Experience in the security industry is a plus. Understanding and experience selling into Arenas, State and Local government, City-Wide Surveillance, and Utilities would be ideal. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating new business opportunities. Competencies, Skills & Knowledge:

Understanding of the security and surveillance industry. Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner, including to non-technical stakeholders. Can quickly grasp the value proposition of i-PRO product offerings. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving ability. Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to identify opportunities, measure success, and contribute to new strategies. Strong customer-centric focus with the ability to understand client needs and build and maintain long-term relationships. Preparing and delivering presentations on products and services via Zoom and In-Person. Overcome sales objections and negotiate and close new opportunities. Using solution-oriented approaches and consultative selling tactics to influence up to the executive level. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Willingness to be coached and acquire new skills.
